Hy-Tek Commlink

This article is a stub. Commlink was Hy-Tek’s own data-exchange product, advertised from 1988, which moved entries and results between Team Manager and Meet Manager on a diskette posted between a club and a meet host.

By 1990 the same exchange could go by modem instead of by post, and through the decade Commlink was treated as an alternative to SDIF, the published standard, rather than as an implementation of it, with governing bodies and magazines accepting times in either; see the software overview for what this section covers.
